Due to state and federal guidelines related to large-scale gatherings, along with our desire to keep our members and community safe, it is with heavy hearts that we must scale back our 123rd Anniversary Feast for 2020. We will not be holding a procession this year and will instead have only a celebratory Mass to honor our Blessed Mother at noon on Sunday, Sept. 13, at St. Therese Church, 218 W. Alexander St., Chicago.  

Attendance at Mass will be limited to 75 people, so we have instituted a required reservation system on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call (708) 222-1200 or email info@smichicago.com to reserve your seat. Face masks and social distancing will be required during the entire liturgy, and due to safety considerations, there will be no refreshments following the service. For those unable to attend, the Mass will be livestreamed on YouTube. Please search for St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish Chicago in the YouTube search on the day of the Feast to locate the stream.

Finally, since there will be no procession, we also are canceling the planning meeting to be held on Aug. 14.
